The Kennewick School District expects to complete a $9.3 million, 16,000-square-foot addition to the Tri-Tech Skills Center in August.
The addition on the north end of the existing Tri-Tech building at 5929 W. Metaline Ave. provides a new location and exhibition area for the culinary arts program, new space for the pre-physical therapy program and a new defined entrance that enhances security and the front office area.
The project was funded in the state’s 2017-19 capital projects budget.
Arculus Design & Technical Services of Kennewick provided construction management services.
Design West Architects of Kennewick was the architect.
DGR Grant Construction of Richland is the contractor.
