A four-bedroom, two-bathroom home partially built by students in the Pasco School District’s Vocational Building Program is on the market.
District and community leaders celebrated the completion of the Team Pasco House at 4705 Corinth Drive in Pasco during a ceremony on May 29.
Students in the district’s construction trades class, a program that draws students from multiple schools, spent hours at the construction site each week throughout the school year, gaining hands-on experience as they earned high school credit. Agriculture science, floriculture, and metals and welding technology students also contributed. It was the 24th home built in the program’s 27 years, the district said.
“We are fortunate to have the support of many companies in the community who donate their time and talents to teach students all aspects of home construction,” said Laura Jones, the district’s career and technical education director, in a statement.
“The student-built home is a shining example of the teamwork, talent, and tenacity our students bring to every challenge. We are proud to come together to celebrate their hard work and the incredible support from our community,” she said.
The home is 1,806 square feet and is listed for $495,000 by Vicki Monteagudo of Century 21 Tri-Cities. To inquire, contact Monteagudo at 509-572-2456 or 509-947-0323.
