A new fast charging electric vehicle charging station at Friend’s Corner in Burbank is part of an effort to expand EV infrastructure in southeast Washington.
The new charging station is part of the Southeast Washington Corridor project funded by the state Department of Transportation. Energy Northwest is a partner of the project, which will also install charging stations in Connell, Dayton, Washtucna, Pullman and Clarkston.
The first chargers are expected to be operational by the end of 2024, with the remaining coming online in spring 2025 when the Connell and Dayton locations are determined.
