James Yates and Aaron Karlson recently finished work on a powder coating and media blasting building at 2685 Polar Way, Richland.
The project brings CORE Powder’s powder coating experience to the Tri-Cities.
The 15,000-square-foot building includes a main reception area, conference room, two offices and a break room. It was completed in late January.
The shop has state-of-the-art equipment from Titan Abrasives and Finishing Technologies, including a sandblast room, chemical wash station, powder application booth and a large oven.
The building cost $3.2 million, the land was $300,000 and the powder coating equipment was $1 million.
Hummel Construction and Development is the general contractor.
Bruce Baker of Baker Architecture designed the building.
