Avelo Airlines announced Dec. 17 it would extend its flight schedule at Pasco’s Tri-Cities Airport through Labor Day 2025. Flights can now be booked on Avelo's Los Angeles/Burbank flights through Sept. 2, 2025.
Since the airline began service at the airport more than three years ago, Avelo has flown more than 130,000 Customers on more than 1,000 flights. This milestone is a validation of the airline’s commitment to growing at the Tri-Cities airport and the industry-leading affordability, reliability and convenience Avelo has introduced to Pasco area travelers, the company said in a release.
“With Avelo’s everyday low fares and industry-leading reliability, now is the perfect time for travelers to get a head start on booking their summer vacations or long-weekend getaways,” said Trevor Yealy, Avelo's head of commercial.
Avelo briefly provided a route between the Tri-Cities and the Sonoma County Airport in the spring of 2024 but ended it after less than two months due to low demand. However, at the same time, it doubled its flights between the Tri-Cities and Burbank, from twice weekly to four days a week.
