Pasco’s Gesa Stadium has recently undergone $5 million in improvements.
The improvements at 6200 Burden Blvd. are tied to the 10-year lease extension with the Tri-City Dust Devils baseball team, and the city of Pasco has invested $1.9 million in the project.
The stadium’s clubhouses have been remodeled by expanding the players’ lockers underneath the grandstands, creating a cafeteria and expanding office space.
The visiting clubhouse has also been remodeled, and a temporary women’s locker has been established.
The changes are in keeping with updates to MLB’s player development licenses for minor league teams.
Future improvements to Gesa Stadium include a permanent female locker room, a 24/7 surveillance system, a replacement of outfield sod, upgraded ballpark lights and more.
The general contractor is Apollo Inc.
