Ski season is around the corner and the operators of the Tri-Cities’ nearest slopes are gearing up for it – and other improvements that will benefit visitors in seasons to come.
Public officials, WSU leaders and Tri-Cities community members gathered Oct. 2 to celebrate the Institute for Northwest Energy Futures’ ribbon cutting at 2892 Pauling Ave., Richland, and to tour the building’s lab and office spaces.
The Grid Storage Launchpad, a $75 million national grid energy storage research and development facility on the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s Richland campus, was dedicated on Aug. 13.
The Pacific Clinic at 1350 N. Grant St. in Kennewick recently completed construction on a new sports wing that includes six indoor pickleball and six tennis courts.
