Jamie Council is a freelance writer and photographer for the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business. Prior to her freelance work, Council ran the sports department at KNDU/KNDO/SWX and was a kicker for the championship Rush football team in the Tri-Cities. Most of her experience is in a newsroom, specifically sports departments throughout Washington and North Dakota.
In addition to her work for the Journal, the multimedia journalist serves as a sportscaster for ESPN+, NFHS, The Lonestar Conference Network, NWAC, and Jacob's Radio, a host of a weekly sports radio show on 1340 ESPN entitles "The Sports Council," a Master of Ceremonies, and a hired gun for other small contracts.
Council lives in the Tri-Cities where she enjoys anything active, exploring the communities and their culture, and telling stories people care about.
