The third annual Farm City Ag & Home Expo will feature farming and home resources March 7-8, 2025, at the Eastern Oregon Trade & Event Center (EOTEC) in Hermiston. This event brings together farmers, homeowners, and industry experts for two full days of classes, demonstrations, and exhibits covering a wide range of topics, including animal care, nutrition, energy, technology, and home care.
Presented by EOTEC, the Hermiston Herald, the Oregon State Extension and title sponsor Pierre Ford of Hermiston, the Farm City Ag & Home Expo is a valuable event for anyone interested in agriculture and home improvement. Attendees can participate in interactive workshops, explore vendor and food booths, and gain hands-on experience with the latest innovations in farming, sustainability, and household management.
Doors open at 9 a.m. each day, with booth closing at 5 p.m. on Friday (Ag Day) and 3 p.m. on Saturday (Home & Family Day).
On Saturday, Umatilla County 4-H will present the Progressive Ag Safety Zone featuring four kid-focused classes that will run all day long. Pet Rescue and other pet adoption agencies will also have animals on site for adoption and Hermiston High School’s Majazzty Choir will perform at noon and 1 p.m.
From learning about weed identification and soil health to mastering home food preservation and composting, the expo offers something for everyone.
