Event Description

Pasco Prevention Network, in partnership with the Pasco Police Department, invites the community to participate in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 26, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Walmart on Road 68 in Pasco. This free community event offers a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. It’s an important opportunity to help protect your loved ones, prevent substance misuse, and safeguard the environment. “Parents have the biggest influence on their teen’s choices,” said Tanya Logston, CPP, Coalition Coordinator for Pasco Prevention Network. “Events like this give families the tools and opportunities to take meaningful action and strengthen our community.” Pasco Prevention Network provides year-round resources that help prevent substance abuse and build life skills in youth. Through community collaboration, education, and outreach, the organization works to empower young people and support families across the region. This event is made possible through partnerships with the Pasco Police Department, Starts with One, and the Washington State Health Care Authority, all working together to make a positive impact in the Tri-Cities area.
