Columbia Industries, a nonprofit serving area residents with disabilities and other challenges, remodeled space to serve as a drop-in resource center for clients.
The center at 900 S. Dayton St. provides assistance to clients who are searching for jobs, applying for affordable housing and signing up for food assistance.
The center’s staff can help clients access critical support services including health care, transportation, benefits planning and domestic violence help. The center offers direct service and also is able to connect clients with resources that can help.
