Goodwill Industries of the Columbia’s new Southridge Attended Donation Center is set to open in mid-June.
Located at 3813 Plaza Way in Kennewick, across the street from Trios Hospital, the 1,100-square-foot building will be used for collecting and transporting donations to Goodwill’s local warehouse.
The center’s interior features an open concept layout to allow ease of accepting donations. The exterior was designed to ensure the building blends with surrounding businesses.
The simple design was created to provide a safe workplace for associates, as well as a convenient location for donors, allowing the nonprofit to continue to grow and serve more people in the community.
June 12 was the projected completion date for the center, with a ribbon cutting set for June 20.
Chervenell Construction of Kennewick is the general contractor.
Archibald & Company is the architect.
